We were extremely impressed by the efficiency and helpfulness of the team which laid the oak flooring at our 100-year-old cottage. The estimate was detailed and was reflected accurately in the final bill When dampness was discovered in part of our home a solution was quickly found. This necessarily involved additional time and expense, but was entirely reasonable in the circumstances. The members of the team, who obviously took pride in their work, were punctual, polite and dedicated. We could not have been more pleased with the outcome

Restoration of engineered oak floor
My engineered oak floor was showing signs of wear after 16 years plus damage from a dishwasher leak and groove/dent from moving an American-style freezer. I had been considering replacing the floor altogether but noticed that One Wood Floors offered a restoration service. Someone came to estimate the next day (I live near the shop) and the work was done over 2 days the following week. There was very little mess from the sanding and the sealing coats didn't alter the natural colour of the wood. The floor now looks better than it did when it was first fitted (the kitchen fitter had dropped something heavy on it on day 3!) and the areas of damage are totally invisible.
