Excellent Customer Support
Our child’s Passport was delayed meaning that we couldn’t go on holiday we booked.
Club Med could have said it was our fault but instead identified that we had applied for the passport 3 months before we were due to fly so it was an unforseeable Passport office issue and rebooked our holiday for later in the year at no extra cost.
Vanashree from the customer support team was supportive, responsive and went above and beyond to help.
It is first experience with Club Med and when faced with a challenge that was outside their control they stepped in and supported us.
With that kind of customer service we will be Club Med Customers for life.

Great customer service
Great customer service. Jacqueline was really helpful and lovely to deal with. The company were flexible in meeting our requirements and Jacqueline facilitated this with calm and a willingness to help.
The only downside is the wait time on calls which can be up to 50minutes! Again Jacqueline was prepared to call me so that I didn’t have this inconvenience.

I made a reservation to Ixtapa in 2020…
I made a reservation to Ixtapa in 2020 with air transportation for three people including 7-year old. Due to Covid situation it was postponed. We got a credit toward future travel. In 2021 when the village was re-opened we rebooked it to April 2022. We were also asked to pay more for air travel. One month before the travel (yesterday) we called Club med (few hours of hold) to ask for the air tickets. We were told that American has cancelled all the flights. We were told that Club med sent us an e-mail regarding the problem a month ago. This was not true we never got any notice. To say you more, even now if I open my reservation on Club med website there is no red flags and I can see my original flight booking. We asked travel agent to rebook the flight. She told us that it would cost us extra 600USD per ticket. We said that we already paid enough and agreed to call next day so we can study other options. I found another airline with flight cost even lower than we already paid and called Clubmed today. I left a callback number and just in 4 hours I got a call. I explained the situation to the representative and she put me on hold for half an hour while talking to booking services. After half an hour I was friendly disconnected. Nobody called me back. So, I'm waiting now for another 4 hours... Club med already held my family hostage for 2 year by refusing to refund cost of the travel. I understood COVID-19 issues and was patient. However, now it is a Club med fault and I do not see any effort to fix it. I believe we deserve better treatment. ref: 501065866

Club Med aftersales customer services…
Club Med aftersales customer services has not been great, I'm afraid. The people themselves have been fine but when I tried phoning it took over half an hour to get through to someone and on the chat I was left waiting for long periods in between messages. I understand it is a busy period, but that should be expected in the run up to the Easter holidays. Other holiday operators answer your calls immediately. I think Club Med needs to improve a lot in this area.

Customer service is terrible
Customer service is absolutely appalling. I have tried multiple times to speak to someone on the phone and noone ever answers! You have to get better service than this when we are paying a lot of money for your holidays....

I wanted to thank Laura for all her support and help in re-booking my family's holiday multiple times, and being very patient and professional with us! I cannot imagine the scale of the admin headache and stress the last couple of years have brought you guys, but I just wanted to say thank you. You always replied quickly, and were really helpful. Fingers crossed things quickly get back to normal.

Long and painful experience to obtain refund
We had a ski holiday booked in January and it was unfortunately cancelled due to Covid restrictions in France. Club Med promptly sent an email that stated we would be entitled to a voucher or full refund - great! Actually getting the refund though was a different story. We were told we would be contacted again with further details - we weren't. I found a refund request form in the FAQs on the website, and received no response. We rang and sat in endless phone queues to customer services. After several weeks of chasing we were refunded 10% of the holiday costs. I sent a complaint email with copies of the invoices and details of the amount we had paid vs what had been refunded. A week later I received an email saying our refund had been sent - it hadn't and it seemed as if no-one had properly read my email and looked into the discrepancy. Eventually one of our party managed to speak to the Club Med agent who had booked our holiday and he discovered the account had been closed down incorrectly and arranged the full refund, which we finally received 2 months after the holiday had been cancelled. So many companies have been impacted by Covid and it is not Club Med's fault the holiday was cancelled, but clear communication and transparency would make customers return again in the future. I will not.

Customer service team
I recently made an error in my reservation for a holiday with Club Med. After having contacted the customer service department, they quickly removed any concerns about the booking and corrected my booking to what I needed very efficiently. The team were very helpful and friendly and i would truly recommend Club Med customer services team for all their work.
